How to Use Bioethanol Fuel?

  1. Check and Shake
Before opening the can, ensure the lid is securely sealed. Gently shake the can to ensure the fuel is well-mixed and ready for burning.

  2. Open the Can
Using a paint can lid tool or a flat-head screwdriver, carefully remove the lid. Be cautious as pressure may build inside the can. If you plan to reuse the lid, rinse it with water and store it for future use.

  3. Place in Fire Bowl
Carefully place the opened can of bioethanol fuel into the fire bowl or designated holder of your fire feature.

  4. Ignite the Fuel
Use an extended lighter or a fireplace match to ignite the fuel. Hold the flame 1-2 inches above the fuel can for proper ignition. The lighter should not come into direct contact with the gel for optimal and safe ignition.

Burn Time
A 13 oz. can of bioethanol fuel typically burns for 2-3 hours, depending on the conditions and the container's size. Be sure to store your fuel in a cool, dry place, away from any heat sources.
