      Pilot Systems:

      1. Standing Pilot (Safety Pilot):

        • Overview: A standing pilot has a small flame that stays lit even when your fireplace is not in use. This pilot light ensures easy ignition each time, as you won’t need to use a match or lighter. If the pilot light is extinguished for any reason, the gas flow is automatically shut off to prevent gas leaks.
        • Best For: Those who prefer a reliable, always-ready ignition source. The standing pilot can remain lit year-round or be turned off in the off-season.

      2. Non-Standing Pilot (Electronic Pilot):

        • Overview: The non-standing pilot (or electronic pilot) only ignites when the fireplace is in use, eliminating the need for a continuously lit pilot flame. These systems typically feature flame-sensing pilot activation, which allows you to ignite the burner with a remote control. Since there’s no standing flame, these systems are more energy-efficient.
        • Best For: Those who want an energy-saving option without a continuous pilot flame.

      1. Match Lit (Natural Gas Only):

      3. "11" Series Standing Pilot (APK-11):

      7. "02" Series Non-Standing Pilot (EPK-2):

        • Features: An updated version of the EPK-1, this system offers a low-profile valve with non-standing flame-sensing activation and basic on/off control via remote. Flame height adjustment is not available.
        • Best For: Those who want an updated, low-profile design for their electronic ignition system.

      8. "2V" Series Non-Standing Pilot (EPK-2V-TR):

        • Features: This 110v wired electronic pilot system is enclosed for outdoor protection and allows for on/off control as well as variable flame height adjustment via the included remote control. It’s compatible with certain outdoor burners (check burner manual for details).
