1. Deck Mount Base
The Deck Mount Base is a great option for users looking to secure their FIM umbrella to a solid deck surface. There are slight variations based on the umbrella model:
- C-Series Umbrellas: This series comes with an 8" x 8" square aluminum plate that has four corner holes. These holes are used to bolt the base securely to your deck, ensuring a stable anchor for your umbrella.
- P-Series Umbrellas: This series includes a 14" x 14" square aluminum plate with four corner holes. Like the C-Series, this larger plate provides a strong and secure anchor for your umbrella when installed on your deck.
2. Ground Insert Base
The Ground Insert Base is designed for a more permanent installation. It requires a zinc-plated steel sleeve to be inserted into the ground. This sleeve is enclosed in a concrete surround to provide long-term stability and support. It’s ideal for installations where the umbrella will remain in place year-round or for extended periods. Once set in concrete, this base provides a very secure foundation for your FIM umbrella.
3. Freestanding Offset Base
The Freestanding Offset Base is a flexible option for those who may want to move their umbrella or avoid permanently affixing it to the ground or deck. This base consists of a 3-piece powder-coated aluminum platform. It requires 24" square pavers (not included) to weigh down and balance the umbrella properly. The freestanding design allows you to place the umbrella wherever you need it, without requiring permanent installation.
